Scalextric Track Buddy App Concept

Working with the Creative Director, I came up with the app tagline and created the initial visuals for an app concept which was presented to Scalextric in a cold pitch. The app idea came from the business owner and was focused on giving the user new track options with their current pieces.

After researching potential target audiences, I found that there were two main parties interested in Scalextric - middle aged hobbyists who had loved the brand a long time and children who had been introduced to the brand more recently. I found that both of these group were heavy users of YouTube and our pitch proposed some ad content and influencer promotion on the platform.

As it was a pitch, I was asked to keep the designs somewhere between a wireframe and a full UI design so that were would be room to develop the product if it was chosen by the company. In keeping with the racing theme, I wanted the app to have a dark feel to it, with textures in the background such as carbon fibre.

Whilst the presentation and concept were well received, there was not budget to progress with the idea at the time.

Pfizer Haemo Heroes Promo

Pfizer wanted to launch an app in the UK that was already available in Germany. The app was educational for children (ages 8+) with a blood condition called haemophilia. I created some initial concepts based around the characters and settings within the game, taking inspiration from superhero movie posters for the “team shot” on the left ad and featuring the game itself more centrally on the second. An illustrator created the finished character on the righthand poster following my design. The posters were launched in GP surgeries.

Bosch i-DOS

POS Concepts

Following initial sketches, I created a series of in-store point of sale materials for use by Bosch throughout the UK and Europe. The concepts focus around how the intelligent dosing system weighs the clothing to calculate how much water and detergent are required, avoiding material waste.

Each of the two chosen routes had an all-in-one card for on top of the washing machine in store and a secondary option where some of the messaging was also displayed with a hanger over the machine door for greater visual impact. The designs were translated and updated internally by Bosch for the wider rollout.
